Sitting on the picturesque bluffs of the Mississippi River overlooking Louisiana, Natchez is known for its antebellum homes, balloon races and literary heritage, while Concordia Parish, La., is known for famous sons such as Jerry Lee Lewis as well as its burgeoning riverfront development. The Democrat coverage area spans approximately four Mississippi counties and Concordia Parish in Louisiana. Qualified candidates will have one to three years of general assignment reporting experience. Recent graduates with pertinent experience will be considered.
